Gravity Analysis

Deduce the flow paths of loads and determine how the vertical loads are being transmitted from the top of the model to the foundation using Gravity Analysis, available in the Structural Analysis for Revit service, when you subscribe to or purchase a maintenance plan for certain products.

Vertical loads are the only loads which are considered, both as applied and as transmitted further along the load flow paths.

This feature can help engineers more quickly determine structural loads and reactions without the finite element method (FEM) and use them during the design stage.
